Partner with OMCI and bring the Summer Emerging Artist Program to your region!
Have you heard good things about what OMCI members are accomplishing?

Been to a conference or networking event, and heard one of our members?

Enjoyed a great online Livestream performance?

There are so many different ways our new partnerships begin, there is no 'right or wrong' way to approach this process.

Many times the initial contact comes from a municipality or a BIA.  Sometimes it's the artists themselves, or through a local Arts Council.  Occasionally it's a media partner.   If you are interested, it's easy to get connected, just reach out to us at info@ontariomusicians.com

**Due to the timelines of the application process, and the date of funding announcements in relation to the beginning of the summer performance season, we proceed to audition, call back and interview potential candidates, and rank candidates for future hiring opportunities.   No offers of employment can be extended until we receive notification of our application status, typically around the end of April each year.   We can only fill positions that are funded through Canada Summer Jobs as there is no alternative source of revenue for these positions.  Thank you for your understanding.

* Candidates must be ages 16-30 on their first day of work to meet the criteria for funding for this program. No exceptions can be made. Thank you for your understanding.
