We exist to provide organizational level support to assist our creator members develop strong, independent music businesses that flourish in the creative economies of the 21st-century.

Our goal is to help you build and grow a life-long, sustainable career that you control and direct.  All members are owners of the co-operative and help make strategic decisions about what that help looks like and what supports you want and need.

We know you have lots of questions and need a trusted source of information and support to help make inroads in the music industry. That's why after extensive consultation with artists just like you, we incorporated in 2018 as a not-for-profit co-operative arts service organization.

That's a big fancy way of saying we exist as a structure you co-own to help you grow your business and meet your needs.  A 21st-century collaborative model, tailor-made for the modern musician.

Most of our consumer members are general consumers, even if they are super-fans!  If you love music and want to get involved behind the scenes, you can apply to volunteer with one of our teams or committees.

We do have a professional consumer group for people who buy or license music for use in broadcasts, music-on-hold services, venues, festivals, and other commercial/professional applications.

We don't plan to have a consumer membership drive for a while, so if this is where you fit in and you want to join up, please reach out to us and we can get you connected.

This membership category includes government regulators and industry stakeholders, including other not-for-profit organizations.

We negotiate a reciprocal membership and also look for strategic alignment and co-presentation opportunities wherever possible.  We'd love the opportunity to work with you to help our members grow, learn and build their careers.

We don't have an "advocacy" committee as yet - but if you are interested in helping to form one, please email us at and let us know.
