SUMMER EMPLOYMENT 2019

 

This year we are employing local youth ages 16 - 30* in a variety of different roles this season through funding received from Canada Summer Jobs. 

 

  • Emerging Artist Performers  (self-accompanied vocalists, instrumentalists and backline performers)

  • Audio-Visual Artists and Technicians

  • Administrative Support Staff (HR Assistants)

  • Web Developers/Social Media Marketer

  • Communications Coordinator

  • Program Coordinators

  • One, 20 Passenger Bus Driver - age 25 - 30 with a Class B, C, E or F licence, a clean abstract and a VSS screening.

 

We have completed our  2019 Artistic Audition Tour, callbacks, and the interview and hiring process for 2019.   

 

If you have an interest in applying for 2020 (pending funding) it is advisable to get connected in your community and attend some of the workshops and activations designed to help you take your music to the next level.

**Due to the timelines of the application process, and the date of funding announcements in relation to the beginning of the summer performance season, we proceed to audition, call back and interview potential candidates, and rank candidates for future hiring opportunities.   No offers of employment can be extended until we receive notification of our application status, typically around the end of April each year.   We can only fill positions that are funded through Canada Summer Jobs as there is no alternative source of revenue for these positions.  Thank you for your understanding.
